hey guys i have seem some people i follow reblog beatonstuck and you should know that kate beaton, the original author of the comics, has expressed on twitter that she really doesn’t like it when people edit her comics
even besides personal preference in general its really, really rude and disrespectful to edit other people’s art without asking (this includes those shitty pixiv art edits that up the saturation and chop them in half for photosets or whatever)
i mean its your choice to do what you want on the internet but if you don’t want to be an asshole and deliver a slap in the face to every artist who poured their own effort into what they made then stop editing people’s work
(plus it doesnt hurt to refrain from encouraging such stuff by reblogging it)
